For the best taste experience:
Raiden Melons are ready to eat when the bottom is slightly soft (try pushing with your finger to judge this). Note that melons start ripening as soon as they are harvested. We recommend consuming the melon within 2-3 days of delivery. Until the day you consume the melon, store it at room temperature and refrigerate your melon 2-3 hours before consuming.

The beneficial bacteria released from the roots of green onions protect the melons from diseases and insects, acting as a natural pesticide. This means Raiden Melons are grown with severely reduced dependency on chemicals that do the same thing. This award-winning cultivation method has been recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

Sweetness guarantee.

All Raiden Melons must meet the sweetness standard of 16 degrees brix or above. To ensure that every single melon meets this level of quality, each melon's sugar content and visual impact are measured with delicate implements. On top of these strict inspections, each melon gets a unique number for traceability. For the farmers, quality and deliciousness is a top priority.
