Behind every fruit, there’s a farmer with an Ikigai.
When people ask us why our fruits are so special, it all narrows down to the years of mastery and integrity of our farmers. In our conversations with these farmers, we noticed that the word “Ikigai” kept coming up over and over. “Ikigai” is the reason people get up in the morning. It’s what brings joy to their lives. To our farmers, fruit farming is their Ikigai. It’s what makes Ikigai Fruits the best in the world.
How it all started…
In 2023, we set out on a mission— to introduce the world’s most precious Japanese fruits to America. Japanese fruits are coveted for their exceptional taste and exquisite appearance. Thanks to the meticulous cultivation methods of the farmers across Japan. But few Americans have tasted these treasured fruits due to import and transportation challenges in the US.
We wanted to change this. We have over a century of experience in importing and exporting fresh produce around the world. Combine that with our love and knowledge of Japanese fruits. We decided to curate and deliver the highest quality Japanese fruits to your door so you can enjoy these delicacies without having to travel to Japan.
Our Promise
Exceptional Taste
Just one bite and you’ll immediately notice the difference. The overflowing juiciness, the gentle sweetness, the beautiful aroma and the way it melts in your mouth. It’s a whole new tasting experience.
Rarity
There’s a reason why some of these fruits cost hundreds of dollars. Each fruit must meet incredibly high standards to make it to market — sugar content, shape, size and texture to name a few. To reach these standards, our farmers employ rigorous quality control measures. Only the cream of the crop make the cut, which is why these fruits are so rare and treasured.
Premium Quality & Freshness
Each fruit is carefully packaged according to its unique features to prevent any damages while in transit. We make sure that the optimal temperature is maintained during every step of transportation. Once the fruits have landed in the US, we have strict inspection measures to make sure that you receive nothing but the best.
Support Small Farms
The Japanese agriculture industry is declining in size due to the aging population and the lack of successors. By purchasing our fruits, you’re not only supporting our farmers, you’re helping to preserve the craftsmanship and innovation of fruit farming in Japan.
