Without relying on genome editing or genetic modification, they embrace natural crossbreeding through their signature “fast breeding process,” creating new fruit varieties with care and precision. With this approach, what normally takes over ten years to develop in strawberries can be achieved in just two.

In 2024, the Saitama – Namegawa farm began full scale operations. Centered on strawberry cultivation, the farm brings together specialists from diverse disciplines, including breeders focused on developing new varieties and cultivation advisors conducting research and guidance. Day by day, they share insights and engage in multifaceted discussions, refining cultivation methods that unlock the full potential of their unique, in-house varieties.

CULTA’s strawberries carry unique names that evoke Japan - SAKURA, NADESHIKO, and YUKIMI. Each variety not only has its own distinctive shape, but also combines firm flesh that withstands long transport with the exceptional sweetness of fully ripened fruit.
