For the best taste experience:
1. Wash the strawberries with the stems still attached.
2. Gently pat them dry.
3. Remove the stem right before you're ready to eat.
4. Eat the strawberry in 2 bites. Take your first bite from the top near the stem and your second bite towards the bottom tip. This way, you'll taste the sweet umami flavors increase with every bite, as there's more glucose accumulated at the bottom tip of the strawberry.

Strawberries are a very delicate and perishable fruit. Upon arrival, please store the product in a cool, dark place such as a refrigerator. Enjoy within 2-3 days upon arrival.

BERRY was founded by 3 passionate people who wanted to create a better society through world-class strawberries. In partnership with the Oneness Foundation, BERRY provides job opportunities for individuals in recovery from disabilities, mental health issues, addiction and other hardships. By combining agriculture and social welfare, BERRY has become a merciful home where underprivileged individuals reconnect with society and improve their wellbeing by cultivating the world's best strawberries.

Harvested at full ripeness.

Most strawberries are harvested just before they're fully ripe to reduce damage during transportation. However, BERRY's strawberries are harvested after they're fully ripe. That's because the longer the strawberry stays on the runner, the more sweeter the strawberries get. Where BERRY is located in Iga City, Mie Prefecture, it's extremely cold in the winter with very little sunshine. This harsh climate is unsuitable for mass production, but it's perfect for dedicated farmers who are willing to go the extra mile. The farmers painstakingly monitor each strawberry and adjust the leaves by hand to ensure they're getting the exact amount of sunlight.
