Nara Strawberry Lab is a team of 4 farmers from Nara Prefecture that dream of expanding the world's definition of strawberries. It's their mission to create delicious strawberries that will inspire the world to love strawberries even more. These strawberries have been adopted as welcome fruits in luxury hotels in Las Vegas, serving as a symbol of hospitality and exquisite treats for guests.

Engineering new strawberry breeds.

The white strawberry variety, "Pearl White", was developed by Koki Maeda of Nara Strawberry Lab. When white strawberries were first discovered in the wilderness, they were too sour and far from delicious. Koki Maeda challenged himself to create the sweetest, juiciest white strawberry, which led to the birth of "Pearl White".
