"When I opened the box from Ikigai Fruits, I genuinely paused—it looked like a jewelry box of strawberries. The Kotoka, Awayuki, and Pearl White varieties each had their own charm, both in taste and appearance. The Kotoka was bold and sweet though a few were a bit sour; the Awayuki was soft with floral notes; and the Pearl White, mild, creamy, with just a hint of pineapple-like brightness. So delicious! Together, they created a tasting experience that felt almost unique. My first shipment had a few issues—some of the berries didn’t travel well, and some had mold on the underside. I also bought the Suzu + Awayuki with this order, and that also did not travel well. Naturally, I was very disappointed at first though there were still berries that could be eaten. When I reached out, I didn't expect their customer service wound be so genuinely kind, thoughtful, and informative. They responded quickly, offered sincere apologies, and offer a solution that went above and beyond. Frankly, I wasn't expecting much due to experience with other companies, but to see how Ikigai Fruits treat their customers, made the experience much better and all the more worth it to trust this company. Overall, this company is one I will continue to trust and highly recommend for their exceptional service and for the delicious strawberries. A great gift to treat your self or to gift to someone you care about."
"I expected some pretty spectacular strawberries for this price. The colors are gorgeous, packaging top notch. The communication was great. The strawberries were just, well, good. Like, getting a good batch of strawberries at your local grocery store good. Not very juicy, not super sweet. Nice rich strawberry flavor though. The texture was a bit firmer than I would prefer. There was a bit more inconsistency than I expected. Some of the red strawberries, for example, had deep red interiors where others were much more white. I dont regret the purchase but don't see a reason to drop $$$'s on "good" fruit again."

"The texture is unlike any American strawberry I’ve had, even the legendary Harry’s Berries. It’s creamy and melts in your mouth. The flavor is not as deep as an American cultivar, but it’s sweet and delicate. Make sure to examine these promptly on receipt; any berry damaged during shipping can mold quickly."
"The selection from Nara Strawberry Labs is very high quality. We love the Awayuki pink strawberries, they have a cherry blossom hue! And the texture is crisp but tender with almost a creamy finish. Definitely recommend."
