Meet Hob Farm. Dedicated to developing strong cultivars, as well as harvesting spectacular produce. Located at the foot of Mt. Daisetsu, this farm is famous for its trademark Natsumizuki strawberries and lavender. Hob's founder, Iwao Takahashi, was fascinated by Hokkaido's cool climate and knew it could revolutionize the production methods of certain produce. He once heard a presentation given about "year-round strawberries" and thought such a thing would be possible in Hokkaido. After more than 30 years of operations, Hob Farm partnered with a strawberry producer and eventually created and trademarked the Natsumizuki variety.
