What's in the box?

  • 6 Eighth Wonder Persimmons (Hatchin-gaki): seedless fruit with mellow sweetness and smooth flesh that softens as it ripens.
  • 6 Chocolate Persimmons (Goma Hatchin-gaki): Japanese persimmons distinguished by their brown, sesame-like speckles in the flesh.

12 persimmons in total. Fruit size, color, firmness and the pattern of speckles vary naturally.

Compare the two styles

Serve both side by side to explore their sweetness and texture. "Chocolate" describes the speckled flesh of Goma Hatchin-gaki rather than a chocolate coating; these are fresh persimmons.
